Bloordale’s Festival of Art & Culture features a weekend street closure and site-based activations for a week after, with visitors participating in multidisciplinary art projects.

Card-Yard activation (Brock north of Bloor)

Play with a pop-up architecture art installation (Pulp: Make) and an interactive sculpture (Tube Tree).

Activities

Make your own patches or paint part of a garden at a mural creation station (Ben Baird).

Create reclaimed-material lorgnettes – a pair of glasses mounted on a handle (Rose-coloured glasses).

2. The OZ Escape – An Interactive Toronto Experience

An outdoor escape room-style experience based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz novel. You will be guided by a mobile app to follow clues, solve puzzles and complete challenges as you walk around the city. A costume contest will take place (wearing costumes is optional). Fewer than 10 team tickets left.

4. Sounds of Toronto FREE Music Concert Series

Last weekend

The Sounds of Toronto FREE Concert Series celebrates the diversity and vibrancy of Toronto’s incredible music scene. Performances will be 2pm – 6pm daily from June 27 to July 21, 2024.

The Distillery Summer Market will take place every every day from May 18 – September 2, with market cart shifts available from 11 am – 4 pm and 4 pm – 8 pm rain or shine.

And don’t miss the last weekend of the free Fellini Forever exhibition (11am – 6pm) at 34 Distillery Lane that’s taking place as part of ICFF Lavazza IncluCity’s Film Festival. Details of the concert series:

5. MYBIA Summer Festival
