2. Pride Parade

“North America’s largest Pride Parade”

2pm – 11pm: Pride route

  • 25K+ marchers & 250+ groups participating
  • Bring water & snacks

Closing night at Nathan Phillips Square

  • Dance the afternoon away to house grooves, disco tracks & Pride bangers (songs)

3. Toronto Waterfront Festival

Annual summer event that provides on-land & on-water

programming

Sat & Sun:

  • 11am: Pirate band performance
  • 12pm: Tap Dancing Sailors
  • 1pm: Pirate band performance
  • 2pm: Fire dancers
  • 2.30pm: Percussion performance (Sun only)
  • 3pm: Pirate band performance
  • 4pm: The Royal Canadian Navy band
  • 5pm: Pirate band performance

    General admission to the festival (Free):

    Includes roaming stilt walkers, jugglers, food trucks, interactive activities with the Armed Forces, Canadian Coast Guard, Toronto Fire & others. You can view the ships & take photos.

    Deck Tour Ticket ($15+):

    Includes getting on board the 4 visiting ships & touring their decks. The ships won’t be sailing. 

    Sail Away Ticket ($40+):

    A 2hr sail on Empire Sandy which happens 4 times / day on Sat & Sun. 

    You can combine a Deck Tour Ticket & Sail Away Ticket for a small Combo discount.

    In celebration of the upcoming release of the movie Jurassic World

    You can also “Hike the ROM” – The Dinos, Mammals & Birds Trail Guide guides you to featured creatures from the dinosaur world, and their mammal & bird friends.

    5. Toronto Jazz Festival

    Last weekend

    An annual festival featuring free outdoor performances at OLG Village, as well as during Sidewalk Sessions, which bring live music to various spots throughout the neighbourhood. Ticketed performances are also taking place in multiple venues.
