Shows for kids ages 4-12:

The dates of the show vary. The runtime is anywhere from 30min to 60min. Some performances are relaxed, include sign language & other languages (Japanese, French). 

  • Catch and the Dancing Liver
    • A shadow puppet presentation followed by a rod/hand puppet show
  • Playground
    • A musical with a live band featuring music from 4 time Juno winner Jack Grunsky
  • The Velveteen Rabbit
    • Live music, dance & puppetry
    • Bring your stuffed animal for a chance to be featured in the show (arrive early for this experience)
  • Goosefeather Kamishibai
    • A Japanese form of storytelling that uses a wooden frame with pictures inside

3. Watercolour in the Park

Painting Together

  • Children with caregivers will explore artworks in the AGO
  • Then they create art together
    • They will learn watercolour painting techniques in the studio
    • Then head outside to paint in Grange Park
