2. Winter Stations

An international design exhibition held annually in Toronto

6 temporary winter art installations that incorporate lifeguard towers

Spaced along the waterfront

  • Kew & Woodbine beaches

2025 theme: Dawn

  • Explores the moments of change that redefine our existence

The installations include:

  • Watch: An architecture that aligns with sunrise when light spills in 
  • Slice of Sun: Visitors can enter the structure to embrace dawn light any time of the day
  • Parade: 6 characters march in a procession & invite all to join them
  • Ascolto: Hear the sound of nature amplified in an acoustic shelter 

Location: Woodbine Beach (along Kew & Woodbine beaches)

3. The Retro Arcade

A pop-up gaming event

  • Relive games from the 80s & 90s
  • Dance to nostalgic beats
  • 20+ arcade games include Skee-Ball, Dance Dance Revolution, multiplayer Mario Kart, pinball etc

Date: Ongoing til Sun 16 Mar (daily)

4. Bubble Planet

An immersive experience

10+ themed rooms including:

  • A sketch & post room
  • A huge bubble bath pit
  • A robot-led soap bubble show
  • Oversized sensory bubbles
  • A hot air balloon simulator

A planet with VR technology, 10+ themed rooms, fantastical landscapes, and a hot air balloon simulator.

Beverages purchasable at the end of the exhibit.

Children from the age of 8+ are allowed to participate in the VR room on their own.

5. Disney’s The Little Mermaid

A broadway musical

  • Based on the classic Disney animated feature
  • Includes both the film’s songs & new ones written by an Oscar-winning Disney songwriter
  • Doors open 20min before showtime

Seating upon arrival. Street parking along Wychwood Ave is free til 12am. Any person entering the performance space must hold a ticket.
